Founded in 1988 by Jesuit priest, Father Gregory Boyle, Homeboy Industries is the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world.

 
  • After Homeboy Industries was created, it began forming and operating its own job training businesses. Homeboy Industries has since grown from its initial business, a single bakery, to nearly a dozen social enterprises. These provide a vital training ground for clients as well as revenue streams to support the mission.

  • Homeboy also provides a range of free services and programs including case management, workforce development, educational services, and mental health services. It operates ten social enterprises that serve as job-training sites.
