WIN WITH BUSINESS

The work of WIN with Business focuses on the role of business in contributing to thriving people, places, and a just and thriving society. To achieve this, we explore the role of business in creating the vital conditions everyone needs to thrive. We are partnering with the Office of the Surgeon General to support businesses on their journey.

OFFICE OF THE SURGEON GENERAL COMMUNITY HEALTH & ECONOMIC PROSPERITY REPORT

In order to improve the health of Americans and help foster a more sustainable and equitable prosperity, the Office of the Surgeon General is implementing an initiative called “Community Health and Economic Prosperity” or “CHEP” for short.

The Vital Conditions and WIN Measures are fully integrated into the report, with members and organizations in the WIN Network as contributing authors for Community Health and Economic Prosperity: Engaging Businesses as Stewards and Stakeholders—A Report of the Surgeon General.

WIN WITH BUSINESS FRAMEWORK

WIN with Business is a collaborative within the Well Being In the Nation (WIN) Network designed to extend the positive impact of business on the well-being of people and places, equity and racial justice. This effort is achieved through cross-sector community impact and broader community system change. WIN with Business helps businesses understand how they might take action to create a thriving and just society that promotes intergenerational well-being and equity.  To learn more, read the article at the American Journal of Health Promotion
